The Fossil Fuel Fools (#FFF)

What people, including politicians need to understand is, that the fossil fuel industry will meet its demise, sooner or later; it’s inevitable. It’s either going to be because we helped those in control of the fossil fuel companies change their businesses and corporations from fossil fuels energy to renewable energy, or it will be because fossil fuels have caused the demise of the human species and killed billions of people.

So, then we’re left with the unsettling question of “ Who will mine for coal?”, “Who will work in the oil and gas fields”, “Who is going to operate the power plants” , “Who will manage all our operations?”

Those are the kind of questions that really we, and people in the fossil fuel industry, along with politicians alike, have to ask ourselves.. do we want the the demise of the fossil fuel industry to happen because we stood up for what’s right and saved our future? Or do we want the fossil fuel industry to survive or live a little longer and contribute heavily to global warming and cause the death of billions of people until there are no people to to work in the industry, and therefore kill the industry altogether?

It’s either long-term human survival or the short-term profits of a dying, precariously positioned and dirty industry? that is the question we face.. and our answer to it will depend on whether we let greed control us and be the cause of our demise or whether it will be us whom really come together and change the world.
