The Five Values

Re-thinking has its merits, however, re-imagining our world should never come at the cost of a high moral code or proper ethics.

After all, our motto is “Being human above all else”

At Re-Considered, we are a company of values that seeks to reimagine our world —together.

Shaking Hands

1. Be kind and respectful

  • Everyone you’ll ever meet knows something you don’t. This means it is our responsibility to treat each other with respect.

  • Think beforehand about the impact of your actions and words on the other person, and how it might affect them. Treat others the way they want to be treated, not the way you want to be treated.

  • Debate ideas, but don’t hurt feelings. It is a sign of integrity when we disagree and still play in the sandbox together, without disrespecting each other. We can disagree without de-humanizing the other side.

2. Be Bold. Dream Big.

  • The greatest tragedy in life isn’t that people aim high and miss, but that we aim low and hit. Never be afraid to think big; to dream big. It doesn’t matter if your ideas are too ambitious or crazy; Re-imagining the world as it can be, is the job of bold visionaries.

  • As a wise person once said “Don’t be afraid to shoot for the moon, because even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

3. Show Courage

  • It is said that courage is the source of all character, because without it, we wouldn’t be able to practice any of the other virtues consistently.

  • Have the courage to

    • be honest,

    • challenge each other’s thoughts,

    • take responsibility when you make a mistake,

    • give credit to others when they offer an idea,

    • thank someone when they share their perspective.

High Fives

4. Explore and share.

  • At Re-Considered, there are no “right” or wrong” answers; only new and next answers. Our search is for the truth, not for who’s right. So be humble and … Leave the Ego Behind!

  • Our main goal is to work together and explore different visions for a re-imagined world where we collaborate, instead of clash. Debate ideas, but don’t damage feelings.

5. Be curious

  • Not everything is as it initially seems. So instead of judging, be curious and get in the habit of questioning what you hear or see.

  • You learn nothing from life if you think you’re right all the time. So look for reasons why you might be wrong, not just reasons why you might be right. This takes courage.
