Brave, New World

I dream of a brave, new world,

I’ll try my best as I’m lost for words.

I dream a world of peace and prosperity,

A world of love, kindness and compassion,

I dream a world of forgiveness and mercy,

A world where all can live their passion.

A world that saves us from our collective insanity,

A world that doesn’t hook us on some reality show,

Ensnaring us in the balderdash of people's inanity,

A world that helps us all glow.

A world that stops all the fighting,

A world that renounces all the wars,

A world that focuses on unity lighting,

A world that builds bridges, instead of walls.

A world where human liberation,

Is worth more than endless indignation,

That eviscerates the soul of its vigour,

Causing grudges, suffering and consternation.

A world where all humans learn to coexist,

A world where we are all just grateful,

A world where all love unconditionally and not resist,

Instead of being all irate, malign and hateful.

A world where peace abides,

Where no discrimination exists based on nationality,

A world that reminds us of our common humanity,

A world unbreakable, unshakeable, unstoppable..
