On The Place of Wars in The Climate Movement

We’re unwittingly and inadvertently being hypocrites of some sorts .. you see.. We support climate action and fighting against the governments of the world, including western governments, and their never ending spate of mendacious lies and procrastination in terms of climate action.. which I agree on.
However, some seem to be almost fanatical and avidly rabid and vociferous proponents of Ukraine, insofar as to sugarcoat Ukraine and put it on a pedestal.. I’m not sure what the exact truth is, but it's clear that Ukraine is conning and deceiving the entire world .. They’re one of the most corrupt countries in Europe, (and have been for a minute), they only manifest and show the world what they want the world to see .. they only show us what they want us to see.. and so do western governments .. This is not saying that Russia is benign or as pure as the driven snow, or that its war is justified, but actually, quite the opposite.. ALL sides in this war stand to lose, and they’re willingly and wantonly dragging the entire planet unto the verge of nuclear war! Taking sides between two suicidal parties (the West and Russia) is like choosing or picking who you think should murder you! Supporting any party here, especially if you’re a climate or environment activist that wishes to SAVE the planet (NOT save a corrupt country in Eastern Europe), is nigh on hypocritical and paradoxical .. because, the division that arises from taking sides, is what these governments, western or Russian, are counting on.. they WANT us to pick sides in this war and contribute to their propaganda warmongering and fear mongering campaign .. The bitter truth is, however, picking sides in a war between the world’s greatest nuclear power and a European country is assured to end in utter disaster!
What people don’t get is that this is just a four-dimensional chess game between two gangs, titled “NATO” and “Russia-China” .. that’s all it is really.. few people are courageous and smart enough to realize it. But most people don’t, that’s why they keep bolstering and emboldening these governments to keep pouring preposterously eye-watering amounts of money into a war to protract and prolong it, instead of using that money (which is now to the tune of billions of dollars) to fund our fight against the No 1 Climate and Ecological emergency 🚨 !! This is insanity and hypocrisy on an unprecedented level ! That’s next level hypocrisy! On one hand, people say “let’s fund climate adaptation and mitigation and change our economies ASAP” and then the next minute they say “Oh, sh*t! There’s a sanguinary war in Eastern Europe, F*** climate funding, F*** funding climate change mitigation and adaptation, and F*** everything about saving our common imperiled and dying planet, let’s just continue playing this gratifying war game that panders to our primordial animal instincts and see who wins the gold medal 🥇 , I think/believe/want the west will win the gold medal so I #StandWithUkraine against Russia” .. see ? By doing so, they’re only providing what all those gangster, perfidious and treacherous people at the helm of the governments implicated in this war want!
Whether it’s in the West or Russia, they’re always on the hunt and eying any exploitable opportunity for war companies and military contractors to PROFIT off of fabricated precipitated and contrived wars !! (friendly reminder: #PEOPLEOVERPROFIT, SEE? HYPOCRITES!) And picking sides makes it massively much easier for them to get what they want: which is money and PROFITS off of the lives of innocent people in Ukraine and around the world! What these people like him must realize is that, they must cogitate or contemplate and ruminate upon the implications of supporting ANY side at all in ANY war whatsoever! It takes two hands to clap, and similarly it takes two unscrupulous murderous sides (in this case, those sides are NATO and Russia) to forge a war that kills and mutilates innocent lives ! It’s all in their heads that supporting ANY side (Ukraine OR Russia) will advance or further their causes regarding the climate or the Earth! But it’s all a doltish, illusory fallacy!
Furthermore, war contributes to climate change inestimably more than anybody really knows, cuz there are so many factors at interplay here.. I mean, let’s think of all the pollution from military vehicles, the pollution from military factories to produce the polluting military vehicles; the logistical operations that degrade the environment with detrimental and toxic chemicals; the wild life that gets lost and therefore the already-ailing biodiversity that’s being lost; the indirect emissions that we can’t extrapolate because the world is so blooming intricate; degradation, and even loss, of CO2-sequestering land; the scarring, and even loss, of trees and natural forests; the ginormous amount of GHG emissions that will have to be emitted for reparations, reconstruction, rehabilitation, restoration and recovery AFTER the war ends; nevermind the innumerable lives of people that will be lost; which begs the quadrillion-dollar question: ALL FOR WHAT? ..
WHAT DOES THE ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT STAND TO GAIN FROM SUPPORTING UKRAINE ? What do WE stand to gain? Oh, I see, we only stand to gain the following: Supporting Ukraine, causing the EU to impose sanctions on Russia, so that Russia can’t sell any more gas to Europe, and so Europe because they were so dependent on Russia for their energy needs, must now in the meantime, and like a bunch of novice kindergartners, RESTART the FILTHY COAL-FIRED power plants to compensate for the eventuated energy gap or lacuna created by them losing their main supplier of gas, that happened because they wanna support a criminal gang called NATO and get Ukraine into it as if that wasn’t enough! That’s the definition of a gang of MACHIAVELLIAN WANKERS ! That’s what it is! Wars require an increase in GDP and de-prioritization of everything else, including the CLIMATE AND ECOLOGICAL CRISIS! All of which mean that war CONTRIBUTES AND AGGRAVATES THE CLIMATE AND ECOLOGICAL EMERGENCY, and, as delineated hereinabove, it does so on BOTH the climate aspect and the ecology aspect of the crisis, so a double whammy for us, pitiable environmentalists! And as a friend of mine always so wisely says “we CANNOT BE fighting the CLIMATE CRISIS and at the same time CAUSING it!!” THAT IS WHY it is nothing short of blatant hypocrisy to be in support of saving the planet whilst simultaneously in support of ANY side in ANY war!!
So, Next time we support a war, let’s pause and think for a moment what we ACTUALLY stand to gain from it and not what our governments are telling us we stand to gain! Let this be a salutary lesson, that neither western, nor Russian-Chinese governments can be trusted with anything, not CLIMATE and definitely NOT peace !!
